Rabbit Year Sourcing - Part 3a

Date: 31st January 2011
Location: Parents’ place, Melaka

Every time I return home, I wished to spend more time with my family. I have taken numerous photos of my parents’ house and I believe now is the best time to share them with my readers. In my previous post, I mentioned that my mum had green fingers and she has a collection of potted plants and outdoor decors.

▲ For once in Melaka, 28°C spring breezes fill the air

▲ Welcome to my mum’s mini botanical garden

▲ Mum’s favorite No.1 - Poppi, an active and silly dog who always perceives the garden toad as her toy

▲ No.2 - Daisy pendant light, anything with flower patterns will attract my mum

▲ No.3 - Vintage rattan chair

▲ No.4 - Shabby ducklings in water lily pot

• Spent couple of hours searching for the plants’ botanical and common names

▲ No.5 - Peach Blossom

▲ No.6 - Lucky Bamboo

▲ No.7 - Moss Rose (Portulaca Grandiflora)

▲ No.8- Petunia

▲ No.9-Snake plant

▲ No.10 - Periwinkle

▲ No.12-Medinilla Magnifica
